I began my path as an LPN, working in the hospital, in the home, and in nursing homes. My training then led to midwifery, serving families choosing home birth in central Wisconsin for 7 years.
Graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, I received a BA in Health Promotion and Wellness.
I then received training in massage, becoming a member of AMTA. Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy training was added to my skillset. I facilitate Yoga, Movement and Meditation classes in Waupaca, Wisconsin.
After completing professional training with Jon Kabot-Zinn of the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, I taught Mindfullness-Based Stress Reduction locally, for Theda Care Hospital, and with the Leadership Institute throughout the US.
Starting in 2000 and continuing today, I have completed training with The Upledger Institute in five levels of CranioSacral Therapy. Serving as a teaching assistant also adds to my enrichment and understanding of this work.
